Serious Courts for Serious Performance

Not All Hoops Are Created Equal.

A premium court deserves a premium goal. TSS supplies and installs professional-grade basketball systems for backyard courts, school gymnasiums, private clubs, and commercial facilities across Canada.

About Basketball Goals

The Right Goal Makes the Game

The surface gets most of the attention, but ask any serious player and they’ll tell you the goal matters just as much. Flimsy backboard flex, wobbly poles, and rims that don’t hold tension ruin the playing experience no matter how good the surface underneath is.

Every basketball system TSS supplies is selected for outdoor durability, proper play performance, and the kind of build quality that holds up through Canadian winters and years of daily use. We carry systems for every setting and every level of play, from family backyard courts to competition-ready commercial facilities.

Our team will help you choose the right system for your court during the consultation process. If you’re not sure where to start, that’s exactly what we’re here for.

For Backyard Courts

Premium Goals for Home Courts

A backyard basketball goal needs to do two things well: play great and hold up outdoors. Consumer-grade goals from big box retailers are built for driveways and occasional use. TSS supplies professional-grade in-ground systems built for the kind of daily, serious play that a premium backyard court invites.

HyperDunk Series

The HyperDunk series is TSS’s primary residential basketball goal line, engineered for high-quality recreational play and built to last outdoors year-round in Canadian conditions.

Installation Note

All TSS residential basketball goals are in-ground systems, permanently anchored into the concrete base. This is the only installation method we recommend for backyard courts — portable and surface-mount systems don’t provide the stability, safety, or play quality that a premium court deserves. Our crew handles the full installation as part of your court project.

For Facilities & Organizations

Commercial-Grade Systems for Every Level of Play

For schools, clubs, recreation centres, and municipal facilities, basketball goal selection involves more variables: ceiling height, mounting options, player age and size, usage intensity, and budget. TSS carries a complete range of commercial basketball systems and will help you choose the right configuration for your facility.

In-Ground Systems

The standard for outdoor commercial courts and indoor facilities with concrete floors. Permanently anchored for maximum stability and the best play experience. Available in a range of pole diameters and backboard sizes to suit different facility requirements.

icon 10
Wall-Mount Systems

Ideal for gymnasiums where floor space and storage are a priority. Wall-mount goals fold up against the wall when not in use, freeing up the floor for other activities. Available in manual and electric-powered folding configurations.

Ceiling-Mount Systems

A clean solution for facilities with high ceilings where wall mounting isn’t practical. Ceiling-mount goals provide an unobstructed court surface and are a popular choice for multi-purpose gymnasiums.

Portable Systems

For facilities that need flexibility, portable basketball systems can be moved and repositioned as needed. Not recommended as a primary option for permanent courts, but a practical solution for multi-use spaces or overflow courts.

What to Look for in a Basketball Goal

Not sure how to evaluate your options? Here are the factors that matter most.

Pole Diameter and Material

Thicker poles mean less flex and a more stable playing experience. For serious play, look for heavy-gauge steel poles. Thin, hollow poles are the most common source of the wobble and vibration that plagues lower-quality systems.

Backboard Size and Material

Regulation backboards are 72″ wide. Smaller backboards change the play experience significantly and are best suited for younger players or space-constrained installations. Tempered glass delivers the truest ball response. Acrylic and polycarbonate are durable alternatives for outdoor and recreational use.

Rim Specification

Competition rims are double-rimmed with breakaway flex systems that absorb dunks and aggressive play without bending. Single-rim systems are fine for lighter recreational use but won’t hold up to heavy play over time.

Anchor System

In-ground systems should be anchored with a proper anchor kit set into the concrete base. This is non-negotiable for safety and play quality. TSS handles anchor installation as part of every court project.

Adjustability

Adjustable-height systems are valuable for families with younger kids who will grow into the game. For adult-only courts and commercial facilities, fixed regulation height is the standard choice.

FAQs

Basketball Goals, Answered

Can I add a basketball goal to an existing court?

Yes, in most cases. Adding an in-ground goal to an existing concrete court is straightforward as long as the base is in good condition. TSS can assess your existing court and handle the installation. Contact us to discuss your specific situation.

In-ground systems are permanently anchored into the concrete base, delivering the best stability, safety, and play quality. Portable systems sit on a weighted base and can be moved, but they flex more under aggressive play and aren’t recommended for serious use. For any permanent backyard or facility court, in-ground is the right choice.

Yes. All TSS basketball systems come with manufacturer warranties. Specific warranty terms vary by product and will be detailed in your project estimate. Our team is available for post-installation support if any issues arise.

Custom backboard graphics are available on select systems. If branding your court is important to you, mention it during your consultation and we’ll let you know what’s possible for your chosen goal system.

Regulation height is 10 feet, which is standard for adult play. For families with younger kids, an adjustable system that can be set lower and raised as the kids grow is a popular choice. Our team will help you decide during the consultation based on who will be using the court and how.
